MAKE THESE SUPER CUTE KNITTED NOAH'S ARK HIPPOS
These super cute knitted Noah's ark hippos are named Hatty and Hector.
They are part of the Noah’s Ark knit-a-long from Sirdar. This is a series of fun knitted animal toys that have been designed by Sue johnson.
The knitted hippos are lovely soft and squishy and can easily become any kid’s best friend. There are six patterns in the Noah's Ark collection to collect, we are releasing one pattern each morning each day this week for you to enjoy!

A lovely collection of animals that I'm sure any children would love to enjoy, cuddle, play and squish. So, there are six animal patterns to collect and knit for any child's bedroom or playroom. The knitted striped tigers are lovely and soft and squishy. I'm sure they can easily become any child’s best friend.
Once finished, one of these squishy hippos should approx. 5 inches in height. The height is measured from the centre back. In metric measurements, a completed knitted hippo should be about 12.5 cm high.
The pattern for these great cuddly hippos is recommended as for an intermediate knitter although I feel an advanced knitter could also undertake these wonderful patterns..
Finished measurements: 5” high
Recommended Yarn: Bamboo DK yarn/fibre,1 ball of each colour you will need six shades of colour.
Needle: 1 Pair of 3.25mm or US 3 knitting needles
Gauge: no given gauge has been recommended.
