Hello & Welcome

Hello and welcome to Caszs Country Crafts, my name is Carey and I am the creator of caszs country crafts. I have been doing arts and crafts since I was a young girl. I fell in love with knitting and the feeling plus pleasure I got from creating something beautiful out of wool. I live in northeast Victoria in Australia where often buying supplies for knitting is extremely limited.

After developing a very aggressive form of cancer I had to retire from a small local shop. Often appointments and all the travelling was extremely arduous and boring so I started knitting things again.

Then the frustration of trying to buy things I need economically was painful and the local stores in town are extremely limited with what was available. I saw a niche not only for my hometown but online with affordable knitting supplies and an online area for selling my homemade knitted items & hence the creation of Caszs Country Crafts was born and is now fast becoming a full-time occupation with not only knitting items but also sourcing economically affordable supplies, and dyeing yarns to sell.

In my store, you will find an array of homemade knitted garments and household items. You will also find those pesky things us knitters are always looking for like needles and notions. For those of you who don't know what "notions " are it is the modern day term for knitting accessories, & in showing my age the term wool is also now called yarn. I also hand dye skeins of yarns to different colours and supply a cake winding service where you can have your yarn wound to a centre pull yarn cake. That way your wool is easier to knit with and a lot fewer tangles.
