Free Pattern Buttercup A-Line Top Dresses & More!

Today I thought id share a free pattern from the ravelary site with you all. With all the hot weather we are currently having it has had me thinking of cool top patterns to wear. Which I must admit I dont have many patterns off.

You can also make additional increases under the lace panel to provide more room for those of us who are endowed a little larger.

I love the versatility of this pattern. Knitted in a 8 ply or 11 ply it will have really good moisture wicking for absorbing your sweat.

You will though need to make sure you knit a tension square with this so it will fit you correctly

This pattern is from the Ravelary site and is a pdf download for you all written by; Hedi Kirrmaier's, you can knit this as a top or lengthen the pattern and also wear it as a dress if you like.

          This pattern is a top down, seamless raglan, A-line top, featuring just a touch of lace and a very slightly puffed sleeve. It is designed for a light dk yarn (8 Ply, au) to give the design some extra drape. The sleeve and body shaping and trim can easily be modified to suit your style. Thus giving the pattern versatility in it's design.

Suitable for an adventurous beginner or intermediate knitter.

Buttercup Pattern - Neckline.If you are ‘amply’ busted, you may want to select one size smaller than the recommended one according to the bust size, to make sure the yoke and neck sections are not too big. You can then make additional increases under the lace panel to provide more room for the bust if necessary.
