A Little About Birch Creative,

Caszs Country Crafts is pleased to announce we have joined with Birch Creative, I am so excited about this as it is a well-known Australian company.

I will supply you though with a little background through of Birch for those of you who know nothing about Birch Creative here in Australia.

About Birch:

“From Humble Beginnings, To an Internationally Recognised Company, In 1926, Edgar Charles Birch set up shop in Melbourne’s Flinders Lane with only 100 pounds and a suitcase of sewing needles, safety pins, press studs and elastic.

His very first customers was in his Melbourne’s department stores & who came to depend on Edgar’s range of quality imported haberdashery goods.

“So, I know just how hard he has worked to grow his business and whilst Caszs Country Crafts is a small home based business mainly as I like to deliver one on one customer service plus the fact it gives me time to deal with the medical issues from having throat and mouth cancer. I am so pleased to have Birch on board. You can watch our partnership grow though this page and our Birch Collections!”

As the Edgar’s family joined Mr Birch in business, he was able to expand the company across Australia, and he soon began embarking on international buying trips to source the most up-to-date products. With growing contacts in the industry, it wasn’t long before a larger premises was required.

Since their humble beginnings, they have only continued to grow with pride, great products and great outstanding customer service. Today, they now operate out of Australia and New Zealand, and their products are available worldwide.

While Birch still retains a strong focus on haberdashery, their range now includes an impressive selection of craft brands, including our very own Birch label.

To this day, Birch Creative remains a family owned and operated business, with four generations of the family working in the company who are all proud to continue Edgar’s legacy. How Proud and Promising is that Business History! & Something Im so very proud to be a part of here with my little studio!

More than 90 years later, the Birch name remains synonymous with quality, value, and outstanding customer service today within Australia and their worldwide partnerships. I know I too am looking forward to watching our partnership grow with Birch Creative, Thanks to Graham & Mr. Birch.”
