The pattern uses a combination of knit and purl, ribbing, and stockinette, plus has a cool ridge. The jumper/sweater is knitted in two identical pieces, so you will need a circular needle or stitch holder to hold all the stitches, so once stitched the two pieces are seamed together to complete the sweater.
